LACTATION CONSULTATIONS
We are able to bill as in-network providers with a variety of insurance companies and offer a discounted cash rate for those with other insurance.
PRENATAL SERVICES
We are able to bill as in-network providers with a variety of insurance companies and offer a discounted cash rate for those with other insurance.
GROUP CLASSES
All group classes are $40/couple and are not billable to insurance.
INSURED WITH AETNA?
We are in-network and will bill accordingly.
INSURED WITH BCBS, UNITED HEALTHCARE, OR CIGNA PPO?
We can bill as an in-network provider through our partnership with The Lactation Network.
NOT INSURED WITH A LISTED PROVIDER?
For those with other insurance coverage, we offer a discounted cash rate. Payment is collected at the time of service.
A Superbill will be provided for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Cash Rates
If you are uninsured or not insured by Aetna, BCBS, Cigna PPO, or United Healthcare, these prices apply to you. Group courses are not covered by insurance and prices listed below apply to all.
INITIAL LACTATION CONSULTATION
The first step- Oral and breast assessments
- Positioning support
- A weighed feeding where we will weigh baby, we will assist you with the feeding, and then we will weigh baby again to assess milk intake (our scale is super accurate, so we’ll know within 2mL how much milk baby took from the breast!)
- Individualized care plan development during our visit
- You, your OB/midwife, and Pediatrician (with your consent) will receive a comprehensive written report summarizing our visit.
FOLLOW UP LACTATION CONSULTATION
(Must follow initial consultation)- Continued support
- Monitored progress
- Address breastfeeding challenges
- A weighed feeding with assistance as needed
- Follow up notes from our visit
- You, your OB/midwife, and Pediatrician (with your consent) will receive a comprehensive written report summarizing our visit.
SKYPE/PHONE LACTATION CONSULTATION
(For new or existing clients)- 30 Minutes
- Continued support
- Preparing to return to work
- How to plan being away from baby

PRIVATE PRENATAL CONSULTATION
An individualized plan and ongoing support.- An individualized plan with ongoing direct support from an IBCLC prior to and immediately following birth
- Identification & discussion of your personal goals for breastfeeding
- Anticipate and discuss any anticipated challenges or complications
- Develop your breastfeeding plan
- IBCLC available via phone and text for ongoing support immediately following delivery
PRENATAL BREASTFEEDING CLASS
(Price per Couple)- Comprehensive prenatal breastfeeding class for expecting parents
- Provide a solid foundation for a successful breastfeeding relationship.
- Pregnancy’s preparations for breastfeeding
- Latching
- Positioning
- How to know baby is getting enough
- Preparing for returning to work, and
- An introduction to pumping
MARVELOUS MULTIPLES CLASS
(Price per Couple)- Heather teaches Marvelous Multiples every other month at Hinsdale Hospital’s outpatient lactation center.
- The class is designed for parents expecting multiples
- The basics of pregnancy, birth, feeding, and care when you’re expecting more than one

Hello! I’m Heather
IBCLC, RLC
Heather is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant with a degree in Applied Psychology. She is a TOTs (Tethered Oral Tissues) trained professional and has completed extensive training in supporting infants with tongue and lip ties. She had the opportunity to complete her 1,000 clinical hours required to become an IBCLC in a variety of settings including a local hospital Mother Baby Unit, Level III NICU, and as a Breastfeeding Counselor through Breastfeeding USA.
